KANDAHAR (SW) – Joint units of the security forces on Sunday held military drills in Kandahar province after similar maneuvers in Paktia and Nangarhar provinces.
According to the defense ministry, the maneuver was carried out in the Spin Boldak district near the Durand Line. In this maneuver, various units demonstrated their capabilities and readiness.
Spokesman for Kandahar governor, Bahir Ahmadi said the purpose of the military exercise was to reassure the residents that the security forces are by their side.
