Armed men shoot aid workers in Ghor

FEROZKOH (SW): As a result of the attack by unknown gunmen in Kabulak village of Ghor province, three foreign-agency workers are killed and two are wounded on Monday afternoon.

Security officials in Ghor said that the incident occurred after the aid workers were traveling back from Shahrak district towards the provincial capital, Ferozkoh.

Ghulam Mustafa Mohseni, the provincial police chief, told Salam Watandar that all the victims of the shooting are employees of CRS. According to the provincial police chief, a woman is among the wounded.

Ghor’s police chief assured that efforts to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the incident have begun.
