KABUL (SW) – Armed assailants stormed the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology compound in Kabul on Saturday morning.
According to the Ministry of Interior, a suicide car bombing followed the armed assault by multiple attackers on the MoCIT.
The attack was declared over in the evening with all four attackers killed. The Ministry of Interior said close to 1500 workers of MoCIT, 300 employees of the Ministry of Information and Culture and nearly 150 employees of the Central Statistics Organization have been rescued.
The Taliban said they have nothing to do with this attack.
