GHAZNI CITY (SW) – Armed assailants attacked Al-Zahra mosque in Ghazni on Friday, an official confirmed.
Naseer Ahmad Faqiri, member of the provincial council, informed Salam Watandar the attackers opened fire on the guards of the mosque, and left one man injured. He added the security forces reached the site immediately, and situation was under control.
This comes as the anniversary of Imam Hussain’s martyrdom is being celebrated across the country.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
