KABUL (SW): A reliable source on condition of anonymity has told Salam Watandar Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) leader Tohir Yoldosh’s son is busy recruiting militants from Sayad district of Sar-i-Pul province.
The source added the recruiter is currently living in Yaka Toot area which is situated on the edge of Darz Aab and Sayad districts of Sar-i-Pul province. According to reports, the province has more than 4 thousand pro-Daesh, Taliban and foreign militants.
The well-placed source warned if the government failed to launch cleansing operation here the district will fall to the militants.
Tohir Yoldosh reportedly lost a leg and an arm in the drone missile strike on August 27, 2009 and was rushed to a hospital in Pakistan, but died the next day. His death was formally announced by the IMU on August 16, 2010.
