KUALA TERENGGANU (SW): Afghanistan has impressively beaten China 7-2 in the warm-up match of the Asian Football Confederation AFC Beach Soccer Championship 2017 in Malaysia.
According to the Championship’s website, Afghanistan moved outright top of the pool with a 7-2 win over China. Earlier, Rohullah Rastagar saw his side also down Malaysia 5-3 on the opening day. The Afghan captain saw his clinical side going forward with a victory over China. Raof Qaderi and Sami Ullah Mohammadi proved the main sources of inspiration as they helped maintain Afghanistan’s strong start to proceedings in Kuala Terengganu against China.
Afghanistan will now face Iran in group A match on Monday after their warm-up matches won by both the countries with impressive shows. The 2017 AFC Beach Soccer Championship kicked off in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, on March 4, and will wrap up on March 11, 2017.The top three teams will qualify for the 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in the Bahamas.
