KABUL (SW): Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced its schedule for the 18th round of the ‘Under -16 Asian Football Championship’ today.
Afghanistan will play against Iraq, South Korea, and Australia this year in the U-16 championship.
16 teams in four groups will compete in this year’s U-16 Asian Football Championship in Malaysia.
Japan, Thailand, Tajikistan and Malaysia are placed in Group A, North Korea, Yemen, Jordan, and Oman in Group B, Iran, Vietnam, India, and Indonesia in Group C, and Iraq, South Korea, Australia, and Afghanistan in Group D.
These matches will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from September 20th to October 7 this year.
This is the first time that Afghanistan’s U-16 football team will participate in this championship.
The AFC U-16 Football Championship is held every year since 1985 in one of the member countries, and the 16 best Asian teams compete in this championship against each other.
