
KABUL (SW) – Afghanistan and Turkmenistan are set to enter strategic partnership agreement on Thursday.
This comes as Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani is visiting Turkmenistan on an official trip. Together with President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Ghani would oversee signing a number of other bilateral agreements in the fields of economy, bilateral ties and security sector, an official statement noted here.
According to the presidency, Turkmenistan has pledged support in terms of expediting work on the TAPI gas pipeline project as well.
