Afghanistan starts the U19 Asia Cup with victory

KABUL (SW): Afghanistan’s U19 cricket team defeated Pakistan in their first match in the U19 Youth Asia Cup on Friday.

According to Afghanistan’s cricket federation, Afghanistan today (Friday) made its first appearance at the U19 Youth Asia Cup, and defeated Pakistan by seven wickets with the best bowling of Mujeeb Zadran.

Mujeeb Zadran, who got six wickets from U19 team of Pakistan only in 20 over give them 75 runs which is the lowest run in the history of U19 cricket team in Pakistan and secured the man of the match award for himself.

 Six of Pakistan’s U19 team was out with zero. Afghanistan national U19 team succeeded to complete the target in 10 Overs by losing only 3 wickets.

 The second match of Afghanistan U19 cricket team against Sri Lanka is scheduled to be held tomorrow Saturday morning at 6:00 am.

The U19 Youth Asia Cup tournament was held with the participation of teams from Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia, which will continue until the 19th of this month.
