KABUL (SW): Representatives of NATO member states concluded a three-day security conference in Halifax, Canada on Sunday.
The defense ministers of the NATO member countries attended the conference with reassurances to expect the key military alliances endure new plan and reassure their commitment to fight terrorism. Though, Afghanistan was invited to attend the conference, representatives from the country however, were not present in the forum.
Mohammad Radmish, the deputy spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense (MoD) told Salam Watandar that Afghanistan was invited to attend the International Security Forum in Halifax but the Minister of Defense did not attend it. He added that representatives from the Chief Executive Office left the country to attend the conference.
On the other hand, the deputy spokesperson for the Chief Executive Officer, said that Abdullah Abdullah, the Chief Executive Officer, was supposed to attend the International Security Forum in Halifax but he did not join it. The deputy spokesperson for the CEO failed to explain the reasons.
