KABUL (SW): Afghanistan and Zimbabwe would commence the seven-match international cricket series in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates on Monday.
The two teams would face each other for the first T20 match of the latest series on the same field where Afghanistan emerged victorious by 81 runs in January 2016. The two sides would play two T20 and five One Day International matches in this series.
Salam Watandar and partner radio stations would broadcast live commentary of both T20 matches. The commentary would commence on 07:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday.
Flamboyant Shahzad Mohammadi has made a comeback to the national team while Hameed Hassan would miss the match due to injury.
Captain Asghar Stanikzai told a presser a day earlier that spinners are the strength of the side, and Afghanistan is ready to face Zimbabwe.
