ASSADABAD (SW) – An exchange of fire has erupted between the border guards of Afghanistan and Pakistan in Kunar.
According to well-informed sources, the exchange of fire took place at the zero point close to the Durand Line in the Nawa Paas area of the Sarakano district. According to the source, the exchange of fire continued till late on Monday.
At least two people are reported injured from this ongoing exchange of fire.
The Nawa Pass area oversees parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and has only recently been re-opened by the security forces after a clean-up operation.
