KABUL (SW) – At least 17 people got killed and seven more got injured following a road accident on the Kabul – Parwan highway.
Mohammad Azeem, governor of Qara Bagh district in Kabul, said the incident took place late on Thursday when a passenger mini-bus collided with a mini-truck on the highway in the district. He said the passengers in the mini-bus were on their way from Kabul to Kapisa.
Reckless driving and narrow road have been blamed for the deadly accident.
