KABUL (SW) – Abdullah Abdullah, CEO of the National Unity Government, announced on Sunday his electoral team would not attend the forthcoming Loya Jirga (grand consultative session) for peace.
In a statement issued today, Abdullah said his electoral team has not been consulted for the Loya Jirga. It added the reasons presented for holding the Loya Jirga are not convincing.
CEO Abdullah Abdullah has said such consultations cannot resolve the problems faced by Afghanistan.
