JALALABAD (SW): In two different air raids by the Afghan Air Force (AAF), more than 50 alleged pro-Daesh rebels have been reported dead in the eastern Nangarhar province.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor told Salam Watandar that the attacks were carried out in the Pacheragam district. He said that 45 rebels were killed in the first attack while 9 more in the second attack.
In the meantime, Mohammad Haneef Gardiwal, deputy governor for the province, has directed the forces to swiftly eliminate the pro-Daesh rebels. Reports also suggest that dozens of pro-Daesh rebels gathered in the Pas Pacheer area of the Pacheragam district to wage an assault on the local anti-rebel uprising force members. 22 rebels are reportedly dead in this incident as well.
