JALALABAD (SW): Unknown men have torched down a polio vaccination center in Bati Koot district of Nangarhar province.
Dr. Muqdasa Miraj, deputy director of provincial public health directorate, told Salam Watandar the facility and all of its equipment are damaged.
The incident took place in the Chardehi area of Bati Koot district in the province. So far, no group or person has taken responsibility.
Atta-u-llah Khogyani, provincial governor’s spokesman, said efforts to arrest the culprits are underway.
