KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday that out of 633 samples of suspected corona virus patients, the results of 174 emerged positive in the past 24 hours.
With the registration of these new cases, the number of people infected with the corona virus in the country reached 35,463.
As per the ministry figures, 361 people infected with the corona virus recovered in this period taking the total of recovered patients to 23,641.
Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Paktia are among the provinces with the highest rates of the infections.
According to the report, 17 more people died of the virus in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll to 1,181.
