KABUL (SW) – A blast inside the Sher Shah Suri mosque in Karta-4 neighborhood of Kabul killed at least four people, an official confirmed on Friday.
According to Tareq Aryan, interior ministry spokesman, the incident took place during the Friday prayers when explosives placed inside the mosque detonated.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Last month, an identical attack claimed by the Daesh terrorist organization killed prayers leader of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan mosque in the city.
