TALUQAN (SW) – A day after the peace deal with the U.S, the Taliban have close down two public health centers in Takhar province.
Officials in the province told Salam Watandar the insurgents threatened these health centers to closure in Khwaja Ghaar and Baharak districts.
Governor of Khwaja Ghaar, Mulla Mohammad Ummer, confirmed the health centers have been closed after threats from the Taliban. In Baharak, local officials said the Taliban militants did not allow health officials to enter these two public health centers in the province on Sunday.
Few days back, the Taliban closed down a health center in the Dash-e-Qala district of the province.
