KABUL (SW) – Officials from the Legal and Judicial Center for Counter-Narcotics shared with press a round-up of its annual performance.
Spokesman for the Center, Khalid Mohid, said a total of 1287 drug traffickers, including 37 women, have been taken into custody in this while. He added three of these drug trafficking women are Iranian citizen. According to the Center’s report, capital Kabul and eastern Nangarhar province ranked top in regard to drug related offensives with a total of 482 registered cases.
The annual report by the Legal and Judicial Center for Counter-Narcotics said mostly concentrated and addictive drugs were seized during the year 2019.
