KABUL (SW) – Top U.S. peace negotiator for Afghanistan on Monday shared details of the draft peace agreement with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
In a statement issued by the presidency, Zalmay Khalilzad, U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation, met President Ashraf Ghani and shared the details of the proposed peace deal.
Khalilzad also met Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah. He is set to travel to Pakistan before leaving for Brussels to share the details of the proposed peace deal with the Taliban.
