JALALABAD (SW) – Local officials in Nangarhar said on Friday a suicide attack at a wedding ceremony in Pacheragam district killed at least five people and injured around 40 others.
Spokesman for the provincial governor, Attaullah Khogyani, said a local pro-government militia commander, Malik Toor, was the target of this attack. He added a child was suicide for this suicide attack. He warned the death toll might surge.
There has been on immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Meanwhile, the Taliban said in a statement they are not involved in this incident.
