KABUL(SW): US Intelligence agency CIA released about 470,000 documents related to al-Qaeda’s former leader Osama Bin Laden, which was discovered during the attack in 2011 on his hiding place in Pakistan.
Osama Bin Laden’s personal notes show that he hated the West during the summer trip to Britain as a teenager. The documents also show that after Osama bin Laden’s visit to William Shakespeare birthplace, the famous 16th century British poet and writer, he was convinced that the West is decadent.
Previously, a small number of documents discovered from this place were released.
The CIA director said the release of these documents was in the interest of the transparency and the CIA’s commitment to maintain national security.
