SAR-I-PUL/ PUL-I-KHUMRI (SW): The Taliban shot dead Parry, a 25-year-old woman, in Sancharak district of Sar-i-Pul province on Friday night.
Zabiullah Amani, the provincial governor’s spokesman, talking to Salam Watandar said that the Taliban shot dead the woman in the Doton area of Sancharak district of the province late night on Friday.
The governor's spokesman added that she had separated from her former husband and remarried another man. But, after several months, she wished to remarry her first husband. “Parry had a child too”, informed Amani.
According to governor’s spokesman, the father of the victim is an Imam in a mosque and is believed to be involved in arranging the murder of her daughter.
Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen shot dead a man in Khinjan district of Baghlan province before noon on Saturday.
Qudratullah, the provincial police commander in Baghlan, told Salam Watandar that Allawudin, the victim, was a teacher in a school in the district and also he was a member of people’s uprising.
Although, the provincial police commander did not provide details of the shooting, but said 2 persons are detained in connection with the shooting.
Khinjan is relatively safe district in Baghlan province, but recently the presence of lawless gunmen in the district has provoked the people's concerns.
