SAR-I-PUL (SW): The funeral of the 28 victims of the Mirza Olang village of Sayad district in Sar-i-Pul province was held on Wednesday.
Zabiullah Amani, the spokesman for the governor of Sar-i-Pul, said that the bodies of the victims were buried at the general cemetery in the central Toghani area of the province. According to him, 3 children were among the bodies of the victims. “Chances of more dead bodies coming out of the village are high”, added Amani.
It worth mentioning that the bodies of 42 civilians were recovered from 3 collective graves in the village of Mirza Olang on Tuesday.
Recently Daesh rebels have claimed responsibility for killing more than 50 people in the village of Mirza Olang.
