Girl’s robotics team wants support

HERAT CITY (SW): Afghan girl’s robotics team wish to make drones and robots if supported.

The 6 member team has said that if the country’s security officials and world professors support the robotics team, they can build drone and robots for the first time in Afghanistan.

Ali Reza Mehraban, the head of the robotics team, urged the security authorities of the country to allow the girl’s robotics team to import the necessary equipment for building robots. “The girl’s robotic team will soon participate in world robotics competitions and travel Europe”, added Mehraban.

 The Afghan girl’s robotics team won silver medal for “courageous achievement” at the World Robotics Competition in the United States almost 2 weeks ago.

162 countries participated in the World Robotics Competition in which the robot made by the Afghan girl's team ranked 103rd with 243 points.
