KABUL (SW): Mohammad Haseeb Daudzoy, a student at the Business and Administration faculty at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) believes only merit counts at this prestigious academic establishment.

The 21-year-old told Salam Watandar he chose to study at the AUAF rather than going abroad for higher studies. Underlining the importance of English language for admission at the AUAF, Daudzoy said a minimum of 500 score in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) is a must. He said he is convinced that the AUAF is one of the best universities in the world, and that was why he decided to stay in his home country to seek higher education.

“For me it does not matter anymore if I am a student at the Harvard University or the American University of Afghanistan, and that is why I am determined to complete my education here”, he said. The young student at the Business and Administration faculty went on to praise the favorable environment for studies at the AUAF campus in the western neighborhood of the city. He noted the University promotes critical and analytical thinking among its students, which leads them to personal growth.

Mohammad Haseeb Daudzoy has been the top student in his class so far, and he plans to complete his MBA with shining marks.
