KABUL (SW): The hard hitting batting of Mohammad Shahzad and classic all-round performance of Mohammad Nabi has impressed organizers of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to offer them slots.
The auctions for the forthcoming season of PSL T-20 Cricket were held in Dubai. The Queeta Gladiators retained Mohammad Nabi who helped them make a mark in the previous season. Flamboyant Shahzad was placed in the Gold category for the bidding. The Peshawar Zalmay got him as one of their reserve player for the main event.
Jawed Afridi, owner of the Peshawar Zalmay has welcomed Shahzad in his team. As former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has handed over captaincy of this team to the West Indian star Darren Sammy, Shahzad would have the opportunity to play among world class players. Among the overseas players there are 10 each from West Indies and England; three each from Australia and New Zealand and two apiece from Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh.
The PSL matches would commence next year in February in the UAE.
