KABUL (SW): The findings of a recent survey conducted by a civil institution called ‘Salah’ suggest that most of those who have been interviewed are against politicizing the transitional justice.
The officials at this institution said on Sunday that in this survey, more than 1000 civil society activists have been interviewed from across the country.
Salahuddin Darwish, representing the institution, told a press conference here in Kabul that the majority of those who have been interviewed has said that the peace process should be inclusive, and both sides’ recommendations should be shared with people.
The survey also covered the participation of women in the peace talks, and supporting formal and informal peace talks’ approaches.
Edris Omarzada, the head of justice for peace and democracy organization, speaking on the occasion, criticized the High Peace Council (HPC), and said that the council has spent a lot of money under the name of ensuring security but has no achievements so far.
He said that the HPC has turned into a ‘money making project’, which has paved the way for further corruption in the country.
