
KABUL (SW): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left Kabul for Qatar on Monday for a two-day visit.
Based on a statement released by the Arg (Presidential Palace), the President is visiting Qatar based on an official invitation by Qatar’s emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Dawa Khan Minapal, deputy spokesman for the President, told Salam Watandar that the President, in addition to meeting emir Tamim bin Hamdad, would also meet with Qatar’s prime minister and attend the 16th session on” Stability and Welfare for All” in Doha. He said that the President would deliver a speech there at the session.
The President would also meet with Afghan and Qatari Businessmen Council in Qatar.
The National Security Adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar, Minister of Urban Development Affairs Syed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, Minister of Agriculture Asadullah Zamir, Senior Presidential Adviser Dr. Humayun Qayumi and Abdul Salam Rahimi, head of the administrative office of the President are accompanying President Ghani during the visit.
