Shekiba: As I was deeply interested in photography, I accessed to a professional photographer inviting him to train me with basics of photography. After some days the man who was supposed to be my instructor called me on phone and broke the news that he would found an institute of photography.
He asked me to join the would-be institute of photography and learn without paying. I however, inquired him why I was not to be charged with payment, in response he replied that he wanted to have me as 'lover'. “I cannot marry you since I am legally bound to a wife and child, and you can serve me as my mistress”, he said impudently. Having heard his words, I got outraged and then cut his call off for ever.
The treatment and behavior he gave me multiplied my hatred towards men. By the next days, I completely grew isolated and abandoned contacts with all my friends and relatives.
Sadaf: I used to have calm life in hometown. One day a friend of mine called and told me to join him in Kabul and then apply for a vacant post which was announced in his office. Following my friend’s recommendation, I left my hometown for Kabul. After I went through all the procedures they told me to look forward for the final announcement.
Two days later, my friend who had asked me to apply for the post, over again called me. “You must have lunch with me”, he proposed me on the phone. Theoffer however seemed odd to me and I finally rejected it. He called me yet again and this time angrily told me to have lunch with him.Having read his mind in response I ignored his propose telling him that I was not the type of women who blemish her dignity to earn a job.
The next day, he called me once more and told me not to look forward for job. The position you were looking for has been postponed for the time being, he justified. Later on, I came to know that he had propagated my withdrawal from the post I was waiting for. Witnessing these all I returned to my hometown and now I am a whole jobless.
Mina: Not being a university graduate, I decided to work in a supermarket which was looking for saleswoman. By the time I entered in the supermarket the market-owner bothered himself asking whether I was single or married.“I am single”, I responded. “You will get high payment if you open courting with me”, he said pleasurably. Having heard his words, I became shattered. A wisdom of self-hatred arose to rule my entire body. I left the market. Through the way to home, I kept reproaching myself.
