QALAT (SW): A military chopper has crashed in southern Zabul province on Thursday with all five members of the crew and ten security personnel on board feared dead. Ahmad Fawad Askari, Spokesman for the Provincial Police Department has confirmed the incident.
Sources told SW, five members of the crew and ten security personnel on board have died. The incident took place between Shenkai and Nau Bahar districts. Some officials who wished not to be named as they were not authorized to speak termed a technical error as the reason behind the crash
Qari Yousuf, a Taliban spokesman claimed to have hit the helicopter. He told SW 25 government men have been killed.
