JALALABAD (SW) – All four attackers involved in armed assault on the directorate of education in Jalalabad got killed in clashes with the security forces, an official confirmed on Monday.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor, informed the assault began with a suicide blast in front of the directorate of education that was followed by armed assault on the compound by three attackers. He added all attackers got killed.
Separately, Najibullah Kamawal, director public health, has informed up to 10 civilians got injured in this incident. He added one of the wounded peoples is in critical state.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility. However, few days back the pro-Daesh militants in the province warned to attack girls’ schools in the province.
