KABUL (SW): At least seven people got killed and nine more wounded in a suicide attack close to the gathering of religious scholars in the capital Kabul on Monday, an official confirmed.
Hashmat Stanikzai, spokesman for the police in the city, informed media tight security was in place for the gathering of Ulema (religious scholars) in the Loya Jirga arena, the attacker blew his explosives away from the venue on the main road.
The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed at least 12 wounded people are brought for treatment.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
