KABUL (SW) – At least 88 civilians have been killed and 133 wounded in attacks staged by the Taliban in the past two weeks, interior ministry said on Tuesday.
The Interior Ministry spokesman, Tariq Arian said on Tuesday that these many civilians have been killed in 781 Taliban attacks in two weeks.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior added that the Taliban staged attacks in 27 provinces of the country with Kandahar and Ghazni suffering the most in terms of casualties.
The Interior Ministry said the targeting of civilians was against all human, religious, moral and war principles. According to the Interior Ministry, the Taliban have always ignored these values.
The Taliban have not commented in this regard.
