4G internet services across Afghanistan soon

KABUL (SW): The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has vowed to introduce 4G internet technology in the country soon.

According to the officials, the 4G technology would lift the internet speed 10 times in the country. The MoCIT has announced all Internet Service providers (ISPs) can now use fiber optic to upgrade to the 4G internet services.

Said Ahmad Shah Sadat, deputy director at the MoC-IT, has said the 4G services will increase the current internet speed 10 times. “The 4G services have been provided to the companies after consultation with the Presidential Palace”, added Sadat.

He added the ISPs can also provide internet services in the remote areas of the country.
