Wais Ahmad Barmak, interim minister for the Ministry of Interior, said on the occasion that up to 90,000 licenses for arms have been distributed nationwide, and some 55,000 of them have been renewed. He said the new licenses would guarantee fairness, and are not likely to be forged.
