The survey showed that the lowest number of corona cases was in central mountainous provinces such as Daikundi and Ghor, where children make up 14.6 percent and young people, middle-aged and elderly 25 percent of the carriers.

The number of infected people in the cities was more than in the villages. The head of the Ministry of Public Health added that the numbers of Covid-19 cases in the country are declining. The MoPH said that in the last 24 hours, the results of 47 tests were positive. During that past 24 hours, 186 patients recovered and six others died.

With the registration of these new cases, the total number of Covid-19 patients in the country surged to 36,829. Of these, 25,742 patients have been treated so far and 1,294 others have died.

The Ministry of Health emphasizes that those who have been infected once are more likely to be infected again. It urged people not to forget about health tips, especially wearing masks, social distances and hand washing.
