3 Women found dead in Herat

HERAT CITY (SW): In an apparent case of domestic violence, three women are found shot dead in Herat province late on Sunday.

Jilani Farhad, provincial governor’s spokesman, has said the initial investigation indicates the 3 females are victims of domestic violence. “The motive behind the shootings is not known yet, but police have arrested 11 suspects in connection to the triple murders”, added Farhad.

He further said that investigation is underway, and assured the result will be shared with the media. There has been a notable rise in cases of domestic violence in Herat of late.
